School Comms – As previously announced we will no longer be using School Comms for emails and text messages. If you want to contact the school office please do so on Class Dojo, or by email to brynmill.primary@swansea-edunet.gov.uk, or by phoning 01792 463019 – Thank you
ALN Coffee morning – We had a lovely coffee morning today with guests from the Parent Carer Forum, and NAS Swansea Branch, it was great to see so many parents attending.
Parent/Teacher Meetings – Theses are taking place over the next two weeks, please look out for correspondence from your class teacher to book an appointment.
After School Activities – There will be No netball or choir for the next two weeks because of the Parent/ Teacher Meetings.
Dates for the Diary –
Tuesday 1st April – Caswell Classes – Trip to the Wetlands Centre – Please remember to provide a packed lunch, unless you have ordered a school packed lunch.
Thursday 3rd April – Bracelet L Class assembly.
Friday 11th April – Easter Bonnet Parade for children in Pobbles & Bracelet. Children are invited to wear bonnets that they have made at home. Parents/Carers are invited to stay and watch, please queue at Gate 2, once the children have started school. Children in the Afternoon Nurseries will have their parade at the end of the school day in the yard by Gate 5.
Easter Holidays – The Easter Holidays start on Monday 14th April, for two weeks, School starts back on Monday 28th April.
Monday 5th May – May Day Bank Holiday – No School
Half Term – Monday 26th May to Friday 30th May
Monday 2nd June – Inset Day
Friday 18th July – Last day in School
Monday 21st July – Inset Day

Head Teacher Vacancy.
We are delighted to inform you, that after a rigorous recruitment and appointment process the Governing Body have appointed Mr Owen Davies as the new Head Teacher of Brynmill Primary School. Mr Davies will take up his post on the 1st September 2025. It’s a wonderful full-circle moment for Mr Davies, who attended Brynmill as a boy. Llongyfarchiadau!

PTA News
Easter is almost here, which means it’s time for one of our favourite events of the year, the Easter Trail! We’d love to see as many of you as possible joining in the fun, so check out the details in the posts below and save the date.
We’re also on the lookout for volunteers to help run the event and donations of baked goods to sell on the day. If you can spare some time or contribute some tasty treats, please get in touch at friendsofbrynmill@gmail.com.

Medication – Just a reminder that children should hand any medications including Asthma Pumps into the school office for safe keeping. If your child has Asthma please ensure you have provided a spare pump to keep in school.
Gate 1 – If you have pressed the intercom to come to the school office, please remember to shut the gate after you, This is for the safety of all pupils.
Battery recycling – Thank you to everyone who has sent in used household batteries for recycling. Please keep them coming. ( Please note we are unable to accept disposable vapes).

PTA News – A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our game nights this week! Not only did you help raise valuable funds for our school, but it was also a fantastic chance to get together and have some fun. A special thanks to The Hide for generously hosting us!
