School of Sanctuary
We joined 15 other schools at St Mary’s to be presented with our reaccreditation certificates. The Young Interpreters from Caswell & Oxwich were commendable school ambassadors during the ceremony earlier this week. They performed a poem about sanctuary as well as singing our school anthem for all those gathered.

Coffee Morning: Community Welcome
Thank you to those who came along to our Coffee Morning. It was lovely to share a drink and conversation together. Thank you as well to the representatives of SASS, City of Sanctuary and the Chinese in Wales Association for coming along as well. Keep a look out in the new school year for more community coffee mornings, a great time to get to know the school and other parents in an informal setting.
Big Brynmill Tidy Up
Thank you to those that came along on our first Brynmill Tidy up. We collected several bags worth of rubbish from just a few streets around the school. Residents and business owners that we met along the way were grateful for our efforts.

PTA News Summer Fête (Eid Edition)
A huge thank you to everyone who has already offered to help out before, during, or after our Summer Fête (Eid edition)!
We’re still in need of a few more volunteers on the day to help things run smoothly. Without enough helpers, we may sadly need to scale back some of the stalls. If you’re able to lend a hand, or know a grandparent, neighbour, or friend who might be, we’d love to hear from you.
The fête takes place next Friday, 27th June, from 3:15-5:00pm.
To volunteer, please email: friendsofbrynmill@gmail.com
Or message Iza directly on 07528 808611
Sweet & Savoury Treat Donations Needed
Thank you to everyone who’s already pledged to donate to our treat stall! We’re still welcoming donations of cakes, pastries, pakoras, cupcakes, bhajis, or any other sweet or savoury delights, homemade or shop-bought, all are gratefully received.
If you’re able to donate, please let us know in advance by emailing friendsofbrynmill@gmail.com and please include a list of ingredients for allergy awareness.
Pre-Loved Toy & Book Stall
We’re collecting donations for our pre-loved toy and book stall. Please drop off items at the school office. We kindly ask that donations are clean, in excellent condition, and something you’d be happy to receive yourself.
Thank you so much to everyone who’s donated already! Your support means the world to us, we can’t wait to celebrate together next week!

Enterprise Projects
Bracelet is still accepting traditional/country recipes to include in a booklet for their Enterprise Project. Donations of clean cuddly toys are also still welcome for their stall.
Green Scene

Green Scene Volunteer Session – Sunday 13th July, 10:00–12:30
Our next community volunteer session is happening on Sunday 13th July, and everyone is welcome – including parents, children, and friends of Brynmill Primary.
No gardening experience is needed. We’ll provide all the tools, guidance, and refreshments, just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in!
These sessions are a lovely way to give back, connect with others, and help keep our school grounds looking their best for pupils, staff, and visitors alike.
We’d love to see you there! Reserve your spot via Eventbrite:
