A few weeks ago, the Digital Leaders had a parent workshop to teach them about our school’s internet safety. The digital leaders had different workshops, one all about the social media policy, one about the e-safety policy and one had a questionnaire. The parents learned a lot and it was all a big success. To all parents that came along, thank you for your time and we really appreciate it. Thank You!
Eco Update
We have had a busy week this week in Eco Club.
We made Vegan Bird Seed Balls, and discussed the forthcoming Big School Clean Up, when we hope to do a litter pick on the beach.
We will be taking part in the No Single Use Plastics Day, and decided to survey the amount of single use plastics used at lunch time this week, and compare this to the amount on the day itself, and hopefully see a reduction.

Thank you very much to every one who brought in or baked cakes for our cake sale. We raised £120.

Cross Country 30/1/19
Well done to those who have stuck it out in the cold and wet! We ran the same course as in the first few weeks of training to see how much of an improvement they have made. Despite the slippery conditions, everyone has made huge improvements and should be proud of their endurance and speed. Well done everyone!

and Natalia, Julia, Troy, Dima, Susie, Hannah, Bronnie, Ffion, Nia, Lara, Annabelle and Stephanie In KS2.
Our aim is to develop bilingualism and the use of Welsh in our school.
Next week we will be teaching the children Welsh yard games and having lots of fun.

Diolch yn fawr.
Eco Club 11/10/18
We have 12 places available for our visit to the bailing plant in a couple of weeks. If your child is interested please return the form by noon on Friday. Sorry but this trip is only open to KS2 pupils. If we have more names than places we will do a random draw.
We have started to recycle writing implements such as pens, highlighters, correction fluid. If you have any at home please send them in.
We are having a Rags4Riches collection in November so please save clean old clothes and bedding.
We continue to recycle used batteries, so please send your old ones to the school office.
Finally we had lots of great ideas from the children about what they would like to do in Eco, such as litter picks, recycled crafts and finding out about plastic pollution.
They are a great bunch of future Eco Warriors♻😊
Cross Country 10/10/18
Well done to everyone this week. It was a bit harder today, very warm and we did a slightly longer course. I hope the mud arrives soon, or it won’t feel like proper cross country!
Here are their times. It was slightly longer, but I’m so proud of how they are progressing!
There is a Cross Country schools race next Tuesday – I’ll post details on Class Dojo. However, I’m afraid the rules state that only children aged 10 and over can take part. I’ll try and organise something for all our athletes – even if it’s just a more formal race or I’ll see if there are any Wales Athletics events that we could attend as guests.

Well done everyone this week. We did 2 laps for those that wanted to (most did do it !) However, I only timed the first lap, except for 2 who I missed so they only have a time for the whole thing. Well done again!
