Head’s Up from Mr Davies

Thank You for Supporting Wear Red Day

We’re really grateful for your support on Show Racism the Red Card – Wear Red Day. It’s a powerful way for our school community to stand together against racism and promote respect and inclusion.

In a recent letter to us from the Director of Education, there are a few points we wanted to share with families:

  • Racial incidents are taken seriously and dealt with under safeguarding and equality policies.
  • RVE (Religion, Values and Ethics) is a required part of the curriculum for all pupils. It’s about understanding different beliefs, not practicing religion.
  • If you ever see misinformation online about our school, please let us know so we can respond appropriately.

Thanks again for helping us make Brynmill a safe, inclusive space for every child.

Harvest Collections

Thank you so much to everyone that has brought in items for the Harvest collection.  The tables are overflowing with your generosity.  Next week we will begin bagging all the donations to be transported to the Salvation Army for distribution.

Volunteer Drop in Cafe

We are looking forward to our Volunteer Drop in Café on Thursday Oct 23rd, between 2:00 and 3:00pm.  Please come along to meet with our Volunteer Coordinator, Mrs Lewis and other like minded individuals.  Learn about the different opportunities there are at Brynmill Primary and get involved with your child’s school day in a new way.

Green Scene

The next Green Scene volunteer session will take place this Sunday, 18th October from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM.

This event is open to all parents, carers and children, no experience required! We’ll be getting stuck into lots of jobs to help care for the gardens we’ve created together at school.

All tools and equipment are provided, and we’ll have tea, coffee and Rhannu Bakery’s famous vegan cinnamon buns and a selection of Exotica’s finest fruits to keep everyone fuelled.

Please register if you’re able to attend:
